The Autumn Touring Motor Glider (TMG) Fly-in and family social event on 23 March 2013 at Kitty Hawk aerodrome promises to be one of those magic memories for future to behold. Official kick-off is at 09:00 and last official departure 15:00 – the aerial group photo of the designated TMG apron is scheduled for 11:30.
The event is open to all pilots, family, friends and the general public – and of cause all TMG pilots and enthusiasts. For those who have never visited Kitty Hawk Aerodrome – there is a fully licensed restaurant and braai facilities as well as a playground for the young ones. Free refreshments for TMG crew members.
For those who expect a dull get-together, think again! Our challenge - (1) to see as many TMG’s and their pilots assembled ever for a group photo and (2) a combined wingspan length challenge at Kitty Hawk Aerodrome.
Pull out your diaries, your i-pads, blackberries and finger in the date – as priority, and be part of this historic event. Making a knot in your hair might work for those that dislike technology or just don’t own a blackberry (like me). Whatever you do – DO NOT MISS IT! We have a date!
